To fall asleep at night, I design spaces in my head. I can’t turn it off, nor do I want to.

Originally from Western New York, Melissa earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design from Villa Maria College in 2007. During her time in school, she traveled to Toronto, Montreal, and Pittsburgh for an in-depth study of the different architecture and design within each city. Melissa completed an internship at the Daltile Gallery in Manhattan, and remained in New York City where she held a position in high-end residential construction management. This career shift proved to be invaluable as it enabled her to work closely with the trades and learn from their expertise. She quickly realized that with the right planning, anything is possible.

In 2011 Melissa moved to Los Angeles, CA, subsequently introducing Melissa to the world of west coast interiors. She worked with a well established residential interior design firm that specializes in custom cabinetry. Her love for custom details and working directly with craftsmen were in the forefront of every project.

Today, she resides in Western NY, renovating her 1880 home and continuing to design residences in an area very close to her heart.
